2. Data Processed for the Provision of the Website and the Creation of Log Files
a. What data is processed for what purpose?
Each access to the content of the website temporarily stores data that may allow identification. The following data is collected:
- Date and time of access
- IP address
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Website from which the website was accessed
- Websites accessed via the website
- Page visited on our website
- Notification of whether the retrieval was successful
- Volume of data transferred
- Information about the browser type and the version used
- Operating system
The temporary storage of data is necessary for the process of a website visit to enable the delivery of the website. Further storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website and the security of the information technology systems. These purposes also represent our legitimate interest in data processing.
b. On what legal basis is this data processed?
The data is processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) letter f GDPR.
c. How long is the data stored?
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. Log files are kept directly and exclusively accessible to administrators.
3. Rights of Data Subjects
a. Right of Access
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data pursuant to Article 15 GDPR.
b. Right to Object
You have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation (see under Section II).
c. Right to Rectification
If the information concerning you is not (or no longer) accurate, you can request rectification pursuant to Article 16 GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you can request completion.
d. Right to Erasure
You can request the erasure of your personal data pursuant to Article 17 GDPR.
e. Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 18 GDPR.
f. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority of your choice pursuant to Article 77 (1) GDPR. g. Right to Data Portability
Insofar as the requirements of Article 20 (1) GDPR are met, you have the right to receive the data that we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request transmission to another controller. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are mandatory for the operation of the website. Therefore, they are not based on consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) letter a GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Article 6 (1) letter b GDPR, but are justified according to Article 6 (1) letter f GDPR. The requirements of Article 20 (1) GDPR are therefore not met in this respect.
II. Right to Object According to Article 21 (1) GDPR
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data which is based on Article 6 (1) letter f GDPR. The controller will no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are mandatory for the operation of the website.
